HISTORY: Daniel was born on May 13, 1982. He was born into a skillfull wizarding family, as both his parents and older brother were one of the best wizards in their Hogwarts year. In the first year, Daniel was a brilliant wizard and he knew many spells older students didn't know. Girls liked his handsome look and he was one of most popular students in the school. Later he didn't study much and his grades were worse, but he still was one of the best duelers in the school.
His father was a Death Eater who fought alongside Lord Voldemort in the First Wizarding War which ended a year before Daniel's birth. After Voldemort's disappearance, Robert Grey (Daniel's father) returned home and started living with his family, claiming to have changed his ways after the fall of the Dark Lord. Robert taught Daniel the incantation of many spells at home, including some dangerous jinxes and curses, which Daniel practiced in Hogwarts. They lived a happy life until 1995, when Voldemort returned. Robert left the family and became a Death Eater again. Daniel joined the Dumbledore's Army in school and met the famous Harry Potter.
The only major Second Wizarding War battle Daniel participated in was the Battle of Hogwarts, where he managed to defeat four Death Eaters, two of which he defeated in a 2-on-1 duel. The final duel Daniel fought was against his own father. It was the longest duel Daniel fought. He won the fight when he struck his father with a curse that fatally wounded him and he died.

After having left the Death Eater dead or badly wounded due to the Blasting Curse Daniel struck him with, he ran through the corridor where spells of all colors were flying around and threatening to hit him. He Stunned a Death Eater who was just preparing to cast the Killing Curse upon a 17-year-old Hogwarts student.
- Looking for something, son? - a voice stopped Daniel. It was his father, Robert.
- No, but I found you. - Daniel's voice was full of hate, which was unusual for him. - I thought you abandoned the Death Eaters.
- The Death Eaters don't exist without the Dark Lord. Now, I am fighting for him, against Hogwarts. If you are fighting for Hogwarts and for Harry Potter, Daniel, then, I am your enemy.
- I'm more than happy to duel you.
Soon, father and son found themselves casting hostile spells at each other.
