All throughout life, we are faced with many choices.

These choices, as small and insignificant they may seem can turn into good fortune, or ripple and branch into consequences that might have been avoidable. Although these branching paths seem more than abundant, some things are not up to each respective person; many mutants lacking control over their abilities had neither opted to be mutant, or to wreak havoc with their powers. For years, not only the existence of mutants has been hotly debated but a viable solution to the destructive lapses of control has been high on the government's priorities.

Charles Xavier, a prominent figure in mutant affairs was commissioned by the government to operate a school for mutants exclusively. Aside from state regulated public education, the students would receive training in controlling their powers to better blend into an intolerant society. To assist in running the school, Xavier enlisted the help of Emma Frost, a fellow telepath and Erik Lensherr, an old friend and colleague. S.H.I.E.L.D. also became involved, sending agent Carol Danvers as a liaison for both keeping an eye on activity but to recruit students directly from the school into the government agency. The four founders and their respective classes all differ in principles and opinions, choices and directions for varying futures.

With the first classes and students closing in on their final year, it's apparent this is more than just a school, or even a training facility. Each houses' agenda and objectives go in contrasting directions, chancing on clashing and causing conflict. With superpowered tempers and differing beliefs, it seems the school stakes making a future with mutants even more conflicted and violent than before. That's only one possibility, though; in the midst of all the crossroads, where will you end up?
