Lucian pulled a small iron key from his trench coat pocket and unlocked the door to his shop. Stepping inside he could tell that the place needed work on. He flipped a switch on turning on old lights giving the bookstore some kind of luminance. Lucian moved about finding any damages, from the books to the walls. Everything seemed in okay shaped, just covered in dust.
Lucian pulled out his wand, waving it in front of him. Tattered books lying on the floor floated up and set themselves on the shelves. The dust which caked everything slowly disappeared. The floors cleaned themselves making them shine like new. After a good hour of cleaning.
Lucian moved around his shop and shoved his wand back into his pocket. Everything was ready to go. The old man moved over behind his counter and sat down on top of a stool waiting for his first customer.

"I'm coming out of my cage And I’ve been doing just fine. Gotta be down. Because I want it all"~*~*~*~*~*~ Lexa had come down to London to get some things over the weekend as well as open her shop up again. It had been two years since she had been in there but the place looked in tacked. After removing all the dust and living creatures, she put a help wanted sign up before going down the alley looking to see who else had decided to set up shop. There wasn’t much open just yet but she knew that they would eventually start. It was a matter of time and once things picked up more people would be displaying their good. Not in that way but in the lets open a store kind of way. She had loved this place when it was busting with Dark Arts things and she would come down here every weekend just to browse around to see what people had. There were even days she was looking for specific things and those days were the most annoying. When browsing it was easy to find something interesting, but when in search of something specific it was like finding a needle in a haystack.
She stopped in front of what used to be the old bookstore. It seemed to be open again, so she decided to take a gander inside. Why not she had spent a lot of her time in this place before. Maybe the new owner decided to keep it the same way. Pushing the rusty door, she walked in and looked around. The smell was still the same and she could not help but laugh. Some interesting things had gone down in here before and the smell reminded her of it. Pushing some hair from her face, she took a few more steps into the place looking at a wall of books. She was wearing her favourite black dress doing down midway up her tight with her black boots stopping at her knees. She was going to run around this place in anything school related. It was bad enough she had to be stuck in there but to have people think a student was in Knockturn alley really wouldn’t be a great thing. At least that is what Lexa thought. She had her cloak hood up as she walked thought the streets and only took it down when she was in the store.
Fingers running over some of the book spines, she stopped and plucked one off the shelf, casually flipping it open. She hadn’t had anything good to read in a while and some of the books she found helped her with here deadly candles. The ideas you could get from a book were amazing. That and most of the books found in stores like this one were banned in a school. She would have a great time trying to disguise and sneak them in. Before she went further into the store, she noticed Lucian sitting behind the counter. He was one of the few people she had expected to be here. But he was and it seemed like it would be a great advantage for her. This way no one would gossip about her being there. At least not the owner like the previous one had. Walking over to the counter, she set the book down and leaned forward. “Well, Mr. Callows, fancy seeing you of all people here.” she told him a small smirk appearing on her face. Sure, she did not know the man well but she knew who he was and he knew her. It would be nice to talk to someone who might actually be able to keep an interesting conversation.
