Legends of Tohr and Dymasatya arn't exactly my sites, however, I'm one of the admins on Tohr and my best friends happens to run Dymasatya.

The events in this forum take place in a small section of the world known as Tohr, in a city named Rodan. For specifics, refer to the Map within the Vaults of Information. As to the tale behind this place...
The world of Tohr was once much like our Earth. For a few thousand years, the many peoples of Tohr grew and expanded, developing science and technology beyond that which we understand, and they lived in relative peace.
However, it is currently in danger by a dangerous No-named Cult runned by Siyamak, a nasty necromancer with powers of the gods of Chaos.
Join in the factions, be a lone wolf or join the twisted Cult and their evil plans.
((I play Siyamak, so if you have any questions, just PM me on that site.))

On earth and anywhere else in the universe as we know it, each atom is a warp; a gateway to a small universe but as dense as ours (which would explain why splittin a 'warp' in half would create such a huge explosion). This universe is home to nymphs (male female, or genderless) that are gaurdians of 2 things in both our universe and theirs, like gods or goddesses. That is the reason their other universe is just as dense as ours. Their universe only grows when more nymphs appear and exist because the edges of the universe are bordered by statues of the nymphs that are alive, or also by boulders if there is not enough statues. On the other side of the statue and boulder walls is mere black non-existance.
The nymphs are of human weight and height, have elvish ears, and vary wildly in skin, hair, and eye color.
The first week nymphs exist, they grow from 7-year-old looking nymphs to 19-20ish throught the week (two years in a day out of character in real life), and they stay looking 19/20 for the rest of their existance. However, they have no true age and are immortal, and can only die if they're killed (quite like elves in that aspect). If these nymphs are killed, the things they represent are destroyed with them, and Lunkire (lung-KI-ray) spirits carry them to a seperate graveyard from the body. The represented things the dead nymph once ruled over, however, can be reclaimed when another nymph appears and exists. The omen (object) representing the nymph is the shape of the nymph's tombcrystal, and the statue of them is replaced with a statue of their omen.
These nymphs live among themselves in 2 lands in their little universe that collide. The 2 divisions of the lands are Roa and Scyphise. Living in Roa are the Dibelnymphs, generally the ones of good. Since the nymphs are their own opposite and have both a black and white side to them, they are thought of to stand more for their white side. Scyphise, where the Octrinymphs live, are generally the opposite of the above, but it is possible for both sides to have a liking for each other. (The relationship between Dibelnymphs and Ocrinymphs can best be compared to... uh... maybe Slytherin and other houses from Harry Potter. If ya don't like that example, too bad, I thought it was a good comparison.)
These nymphs, as said before, stand for 2 things and are their own opposite, having a black and white side to them. For example, Kliona (my character in this world... these nymphs have no last names) is gaurdian of winds and dreams, but also the dark side of them (storms and nightmares). Her omen is the key.
There is harsh discipline, however, in this beautiful world by a force the nymphs call The Orb.
When The Orb had only just existed as a younger-looking nymph, it lived among others who claimed to be nymphs as well. The Orb (not known as the orb at this time, but the name was unknown) discovered the all-powerful king of the nymphs, when he thought to be alone, revealing the falsehood of himself and the other nymphs; that none of them really existed at all. Just as The Orb heard this, all nymphs including the king were transformed into the Lunkire spirits, for the only one who was truly a nymph had heard the truth, ending the 'lives' of the non-existant nymphs. But the discovery sucked The Orb's soul into an orb that became immensely powerful. It hid itself in a place unknown, now unable to move at will from that place, and created the second existant nymph to breathe in this world- Kliona.
But The Orb still has their small universe in its clutches and has a mighty temper, causing both wondrous good and havoc. A legend that encourages both the Octrinymphs and the Dibelnymphs states that the land that conquers and keeps The Orb will be granted each its inhabitants its great power. The lands often war over this legend, nearly positive of its' validity, and to this day are racing to discover where The Orb is held and to possess it. Meanwhile, it seems that The Orb rules over all in this other universe with an iron fist.
The Orb welcomes you to Dymasatya, esrevinu retho eht (the other universe).
((I play Septarus on Dymasatya, so if you join and have questions, just PM me on that site.))
