This site takes place in what would be Season Four of the tv show One Tree Hill. The gang have graduated from High School and are now all attending Tree Hill University. Who would have expected them all to go to the same college near home, but thats what they're doing, and staying friends till the end.
Lucas Scott graduated with pretty good grades and a basketball scholarship. He has to take it easy a bit because of his heart condition, but he's playing as good as ever. He and Brooke made up and are now doing pretty well in the couple area. He moved out of his mom's place and into a dorm at the University. His roommate was his brother, Nathan. He's playing college basketball and living a pretty good life from the third person point of view.
Nathan Scott graduated from Tree Hill High School with okay grades. He was helped out a lot by his wife, Haley Scott. Though they are technically married and no longer separated, he decided to move into a dorm and shares one with his brother Lucas. He and Haley see a lot of each other and are working very steadily on their issues. Nathan also has a basketball scholarship to the University and is playing very well, bringing back his star player status that he had in high school.
Peyton Sawyer graduated with pretty good grades, being very intelligent. Her father, Larry, got a good, pretty permanent job in New Jersey and decided to sell the house, but Peyton didnt' want to leave, so she moved into a dorm at Tree Hill University. Her father still sends her money and pays most her tuition, having a steady life, with a girlfriend, in NJ, but comes down every once in a while to visit her. SHe's still best friends with Brooke Davis and they hang out all the time. Her Tortured Artist impression has eased a bit and she's back to the crazy fun loving Peyton that they all once knew.
Brooke Davis graduated from high school with average grades. She had never put her studies before everything else. She is currently seeing Lucas Scott and they're happy. She's best friends with Peyton Sawyer, forever, and resides in the same apartment as always, with Haley Scott. They still have the wonderful scrunchie system and it works out just fine since they're guys also share a room. She is on the Tree Hill University Cheer Squad as co-captain and is a possible canidate for Captain next year.
Haley Scott graduated as one of the top in their class. She got back close to her normal study habits and got top marks. She and Nathan are now back together, no more talk of divorce, annulment, or separation; still married, though she remains living with Brooke in their apartment. She is in a bunch of the top classes at Tree Hill University and is actually a cheerleader of her own free will, and not because Brooke talked her into it, though Brooke is excited about it.
Jake Jagielski finally went to court with Nikki. They gave him complete and total custody of Jenny, now two and a half years old. He moved back to tree hill and worked for the end of his senior year on credits which he managed to get and now attends Tree Hill University as well. He and Peyton are taking things slow, but seem pretty happy together though Peyton is still worried about whether he's really back for good or not. He lives in a small apartment with Jenny and takes her to a daycare center while he takes a few courses at the college and works. He also sometimes has Peyton, Brooke, or Haley watch her, which they're happy to do. He now has a restraining order against Nikki while she lives in Texas, attending weekly meetings for various problems.
A quick overview on the parents: Karen is still running Karen's cafe with the help of her business partner, Deb. Deb and Dan finally separated and Deb couldn't be happier. She now lives in the same place, but by herself. Dan moved to the Beach House and now lives there full time. Keith was settling back down in Tree Hill and is engaged to Karen, finally. Dan still runs Dan Scott Motors and Keith has Keith Scott Auto Shop. Coach Durham finally retired. He lives the quiet life, though, of course, stays in the kids lives. They visit him and he goes to all of their games and competitions and things as well as helping out at the High School still.
In the midst of all of the supposed perfectness, Deb and Dan's divorce was not pretty, and they're still fighting over things. Nathan refuses to talk to Dan, so Dan is slowly trying to work his way with Lucas. He's also still mayor of the town and is slowly trying to corrupt everything, and actually succeeding a bit, slowly but effectively. How will they get away from all of this? How will Lucas get away from Dan, how will everything work out? We'll see...
Plus, theres a new guy in town, Ryan Johansson. He attends Tree Hill University as a Sophmore and is flirty with all the ladies. He doesn't really look into their background, but just uses his charm to try to get into their good graces. How will all of the guys react with this new guy hitting on their girlfriends? Plus, the girls seem oblivious to his subtle attempts to get them away from their boyfriends and the fact that he's at it with all of them, though they don't seem to notice and think their boyfriends are just being over-protective. How will that work out? Who will win out of that?
Peyton is trying to hide her fears of Jake leaving her again and is being a bit stand-offish around him when something to close happens. Haley is still trying to make things right with Nathan, though the two of them seem to be really busy and are fighting in the little time they spend together. And Brooke has a secret that she's trying to hide. She's being very suspicious, but won't tell anyone, even when confronted, she acts as if nothing is wrong. How long will she be able to hide it? How long will the Scott marriage last this time? Will Peyton give in to Jake again and make herself vulnerable to further pain if he does leave or make herself so happy if he doesn't? How will it all work out...
And last but not least, Chris is back and how will that add to Haley and Nathan's problems with him trying to get back in with Haley again? We'll see how it all plays...
