History: Ashton was born and raised in the beautiful Ireland. Her mother gave up a successful career to become a stay at home mom while her father was always traveling from London to Ireland every day for work. He was rarely around. Ashton and her mother grew a very close bond with one another and many called Ashton a spitting image of her mom. She was a kind and polite little girl.
After receiving her letter to Hogwarts, the Lacour family decided to move to England so her mother would be closer to her father while Ashton was away. She was a very bright young girl who impressed all her professors and was a friend to many students because of her charm and positive attitude.
During Winter break of her 3rd year at Hogwarts, Ashton and mother were walking down an empty street in a muggle town when a car came speeding down the street. Ashton was unaware of the car coming so her mother sacrificed her life for her one and only daughter.
The loss of her mother completely changed Ashton. She no longer loved Christmas time, she became very dark and cruel to almost everyone even those she called her friends at times. She became a completely different person, losing most of the hope she ever had in life. Her study habits began to slip dramatically but she manages to keep the grades at a decent level. Potions is her only muse for life. Along with complex hexes and jinxes. There are very few people Ashton trusts in her life.
Appearance:
Personality: Ashton is not a very sociable girl, she’s not liked amongst most of her peers due to her abrasiveness and love for bringing others down. She doesn’t care what others think of her, she prefers to be disliked rather than liked by people. As long as she has her few close friends she doesn’t need anyone else. Ashton is very kind and polite when it comes to her teachers but outside of the classroom she’s got quite the mouth on her. You don’t want to be on the wrong side of an upset Aston, she’s got a knack for complex hexes and jinxes as well.
Despite her attitude, Ashton is an intelligent witch. She’s got an eye for potions making and has found that to be her calling. She’s been known to slip a few potions here and there to those she doesn’t really like.
Example of Roleplay:
The glow of the full moon was staring Ashton in the face as she watched it through her dormitory window. It was like the giant rock was mocking her like every other full moon, laughing in her face. It was bad enough that she ruined her family but the moon too had to take a part in the destruction of this so called family. It wasn’t fair. Ashton slowly put her hand into her pants pocket and felt the old letter inside, the one she received from her father two years ago. He didn’t even have the decency to tell her person, it had to be a little while she was in school, the place where she was constantly miserable and the letter didn’t help lift her misery at all, instead making it worse.
Ashton pulled the folded piece of parchment out of her pocket and opened it up. It was faded from age and the small cursive writing was lightly smudged from the old tears from the first time she ever read the letter.
My Dearest Ashton,
There’s no easy way to tell you this but with everything that’s happened with your mother I feel it’s time I tell you something that I should have told the both of you years ago. A few months before your eleventh birthday I had a run in with a terrible creature while here in England. It had razor sharp teeth and equally sharp claws. I was in the forest on an investigation with a fellow ministry worker when I was attacked. The creature came out of nowhere and it was too late to fight back, the deed was done. The creature had injected its poison into my skin and from that point I would never be the same again.
The next thing I knew I was laying in a clearing, the night was beginning to turn into day and one of those creatures was sitting next to me. I watched as he turned from a vicious creature into a man right before my eyes. I couldn’t believe what I had just seen, he was a werewolf and soon I would be one too. The man explained the ways of the wolves to me. He explained how they lived in packs and how some wolves are a lot more dangerous than others. He had found me after the other werewolf attacked me and took care of me. He took me under his wing and made sure I knew everything about what was going to be my future, my future as a werewolf. This is the reason I’ve been so distant from you and mother over the years. I’ve only recently been able to gain control of this blood thirty demon inside of me.
The pack in way we moved to England, I had to keep my loyalty to the one who helped me though this all. I’m sorry I had to tell you all this in a letter but I don’t know when I’d get the chance to talk to you about all of this. I’ve been so busy with work lately and everything that’s been going on with pack. I’m sorry I’ve lied to you these so many years and I do hope you forgive me. I love you Ashton and you’re always on my mind.

Ashton crumpled up the parchment and shoved it back in pocket. She looked back at the full moon giving it an evil glare. The sound of a wolf howling focused her anger no longer on the moon but on the werewolves themselves. Ashton screamed inside of her head so she wouldn’t wake up the others. She wanted to find that werewolf and destroy it anyway possible. She read so many tales about killing werewolves but most were just old muggle stories and since when did muggles know anything about destroying magical creatures? The wolf howled once again this time Ashton wasn’t going to just sit here and figure out how she’d destroy it, she was actually going to go out and do it.
She’d spent so many full moons sitting in this exact spot, writing out her anger in her journal and blaming the moon when really she should be out taking down each and every werewolf she came across and today would be the day she started. Ashton grabbed one of her sold black robes, throwing it over her pajamas and placed her wand in the pocket. She wasn’t sure how’d she get out of the caste but she’d figure it out.
Quietly Ashton descended down the tower stairs and headed towards the ground floor. She knew there was a back door the lead to the school grounds, hopefully no one would be guarding the door and she’d be able to sneak out. As she got closer to the door, Ashton noticed it was wide open and there was one of the groundskeepers fooling around with the lock on the door. Ashton hid around the corner and pulled out her wand, pointing it at the man by the door. “petrificus totalus,” she whispered and the man turned to stone and fell to the ground. Ashton put up her hood, placed her wand back in her pocket and ran past the petrified man out onto the grounds.
The grounds were pretty dark as Ashton began walking in the direction of the forest. She figured this would be the most logical place to find a werewolf. They wouldn’t be running around in plain sight for all to see. Her father had said in the letter that he was in the forest so that would be the first place she looked.
The dark forest was no stranger to Ashton at night, she’d come her many nights before just to be alone but she never came out on a full moon. She didn’t want her father’s misfortune to happen to her too but tonight she didn’t care what happened as long as she could rid the world of at least one werewolf she would at least have gotten some revenge. Ashton walked into the forest; the light from the castle grew dimmer and dimmer as she went farther into the trees. Even the light of the moon was beginning to be lost in the forest of trees. Ashton pulled out her wand once again and held in front of her. “Lumous,” she whispered and soon her wand was lighting her way through the forest.
After walking for a more minutes the forest was starting to become less and less familiar. She had never been this far in before. The dark chill of night was causing her to shiver a little but she was determined to a werewolf. She took a few more steps forward when she heard something in the distance. It sounded like the growling of a dog, she had remembered the sound from when her and her mother used to spend time in the muggle world. They all seemed to have dogs and the dogs would usually growl as they walked by. The sound stopped Ashton in her tracks. Had she found a werewolf? There weren’t wild muggle dogs in the forest? That wasn’t possible she had to have stumbled upon a werewolf. But where was it coming from?
Again Ashton heard the same growl but she still couldn’t tell where it was coming from. She wanted to continue forward into the forest and find where the sound was coming from but as she tried to move forward Ashton noticed that her legs weren’t going anywhere. Her mind was saying keep going but her body wouldn’t move. She was actually scared, something Ashton hadn’t felt in some time. It was about as foreign to her as happiness and she didn’t know what to do. What if the werewolf came after her? Would she be able to run away? Or would she have to become the one thing she truly hated?
