Details
History:
Lexa was born June 8th 1981 into the Malfoy family. She is one year younger then her brother Draco and her father felt that she was of no use in the family. He needed a son and a daughter was a waste of flesh and bone. Finding no use with her so father made an agreement with the Dark Lord, promising her to him. The Dark Lord would need heirs, and if he had found no one suitable, Lexa would be the one he used. Lexa would wear an amulet that could not be removed until the Dark Lord came to claim her. The arrangements of the amulet were dire and if the Dark Lord saw no use for her by her sixteenth birthday, the amulet would kill her. The terms of the amulet were never revealed to the small child as she grew up. It wasn’t until she turned fifteen that her father’s arrangement finally come to surface.
As Lexa was growing up Lucius made her life a living hell, making her regret that she was born. She would be locked up in her room if she did something wrong or if he just had enough of her. Her mother would try to comfort her but it never seemed like she meant what she said. Narcissa never seemed to care much about her, so Lexa would spend most of her childhood in her room coming up with ways to entertain herself. She would sneak of into her father library or study and borrow one of his many dark arts books to read. To this day he still did not seem to know about her studies of the others vast obsession.
By the time she was supposed to start school like Draco had she had read almost every book in the house. She hated Draco because he was not sheltered, not protected and can do what he wanted and got what he wanted. On her eleventh birthday she received a letter from Hogwarts but her father ripped it up before she had a chance to read it. He felt that letting the world know about the second non male Malfoy child would but an utter disgrace on the family. Instead he oped to keep her hidden until she was either taken by the Dark Lord or killed off. It was the best solution for him and he stuck to it for as long as he could. Not wanting his daughter at Hogwart or out of the house at all, he hired her a tutor instead. It would keep her quiet about not being in school and give him a way to pawn her off on someone else. Her tutor was Pyrena Tang’s father a well known Death Eater that Lucius could trust. Since he was tutoring Lexa everyday, his daughter and him became residence at the manor. From then on Lexa had someone other then the help to talk to. Her and Rena got close and became best friends since they were both of the same age and neither was able to attend school.
When she was around 14 Pyrena introduced her to her close cousin Erestor Draikon who was about 2012 but looked like he was 17. Erestor had piercing green eyes, and long brown hair that was tied back loosely. He had stubbly chin and was very tall about 6 feet. He did a lot of archery and was very well built. They had gone out for a while and Lexa fell in love with him. He said he possessed the same feeling but was lying to her. He has been her biggest weakness. She had found out that she meant nothing to him and he was cheating on her. That summer Rena took her to meet someone else so she would get her mind off Erestor. Lexa was more mad then she was upset with what happened. Rena had insisted that she set her up with her boyfriend’s best friend Jason Randle. They had gone out a few times and then made the relationship official but it ended shortly after as most teen relationships do.
By her fifteenth birthday her father had caved in and let her go to Hogwarts. It was then that she found out the details about the amulet and the promise to the Dark Lord. She hated both her parents for doing this to her and not telling her about it. However, her hatred for her parents caused an unusual sibling bond between her brother and herself. They might not have liked each other but they formed a truce that at least kept them on speaking terms. Over the next few years they grew a bit closer as siblings but only they would know that. The rest of the world thought they still hated each other. Mid-year her mother had shown up trying to explain everything that was happening and why it is how it is. As a result, she and her mother grew a bit closer but she still hated her for allowing all this to happen. Since her mother regretted what happened, she made a deal with the Dark Lord that she could take Lexa's place. The Dark Lord accepted and the amulet was removed from her skin setting Lexa free from that path. Before the trade was made, her father had made her become a Death Eater, once again binding her life to another.
Almost a year later Draco and Lexa went to a meeting with the Dark Lord to find that their mother was dead and that they had a brother to top it all off. Draco was told to take care of him and is still to this day. Only the three of them know about Tristan’s existence and sore to keep it to themselves.
About a month later, Lexa met a vampire named Draven Luvann. Things went smoothly for a few months, their relationship quite strong and Lexa being confident that maybe this time it would work. To her dismiss it didn't. She loved Draven and she knew he loved her. The relationship didn’t last long; two months later she found out that Draven was killed by a vampire hunter. That causes another crack in her, slowly breaking her. Right after she found out she disappeared for a while. No one knew where she was or if she was even alive. Couple weeks passed and Lexa re-appeared acting as if nothing had happened. Seeing as her only free friend had betrayed her and left, no one noticed that there was a change in her. She wasn't the same, even if she acted like her usual self only someone who knew her would have noticed something off.
For a while she thought that she was never going to find someone who wouldn't leave or be killed shortly after the relationship started. Just as she was going to give up she met another man named Regdon Avery. At the time she was still morning over the loss of Draven and a part of her did not trust anyone to get close after what had happened. However, it wasn’t long before she was engaged, this time with serious doubts that it would happen. She vowed to herself that this was the last time and if something happened she would never travel this path again. Once she was married some of the doubts left but others stayed.
At first she thought everything was going great, she had a husband that cared about her and it seemed like the relationship would last. It wasn’t until she started getting information that that said he husband was trying to turn her into the Ministry for being a Death Eater. She knew Reg wasn’t one for the Dark Lord but she hadn’t thought he would go this far. After the Battle at Hogwarts, she and one of her close friends Alex Sceleris left the country, needing not only a place to escape to, but a break from everything around them. Only leaving a message to her husband saying she was leaving him because she knew everything and for him to not try and find her, they took the old fashion way via boat and headed for America.
It has been two years since Lexa and Alex left for the states, but now they decided to come back. Enough time has passed for things to cool off. Lexa herself decided to finish off the last year of school she missed because really there wasn’t much else for her to do now. Being single and happy to be alive and free she still had some things she wanted to finish up.
~*~Important Notes~*~
There are some things that need to change that happened in the borad previously. Here they are:
- Lexa never killed Seruas so the Ministry would only be after her for suspecting she was a Death Eater
- She was never a vampire. We are keeping that to the limit and I decided I didn’t like that aspect in my character anymore
- No kids. That part only applied with the vampire history
Appearance:
Personality:
Lexa was once typical tomboy and loves to get down and dirty. She is very sneaky, stubborn and causes a lot of trouble. Her loyalty lies only with her friends and her mother and brother. She does not trust her father at all and wish him dead. She is very sly and it would not be wise to cross her path.
Lexa has changed greatly over the years. Her style and personality has grown and developed from a tomboy girl to a strong and stable woman. She is manipulative, sly and very collected. It is hard to tell what kind of person she is unless you know her. Her emotions are never kept on her sleeve, for she can mask them fairly well. Dealing with the kind of family and people she knew only made it easier for her.
Example of Roleplay:
The thick strands of black hair slowly moved on the pale face as another chill breath passed through thin red lips. The thin auburn cloak waved in and out of the wind behind the figure as it sat perched on a worn stone tombstone. If it wasn't for the movement of fabric, it could be mistaken for a very lifelike statue. For the past few weeks the figure stayed in that exact spot all night long. Once the sun was up again, they would disappear until it went down. It was a bit pasted midnight when the figure showed some signs of moment. A pale slim hand reached into the cloak pocket, pulling out a slim box of cigarettes. Once the cancer stick was out of the box and nestled gently between the firm lips, the figure quickly lit it before taking a deep breath. Moments later a long cool breath escaped the figures lips, just as the long black hood fell away from its face revealing Lexa Avery.
Lexa had been sitting on the same gravestone every night for the past month waiting and hoping that he would show up. It had been a while since she had seen him and after everything they went through, she knew he couldn't just throw it away. Not without a fight. At least she wasn't going to let him throw it away. Every night she would sit there and wait, knowing he would come when he finally swallowed his anger and pride. There were some nights when she could tell he was near but never showed himself. She would wait as long as it took to finally get him to talk to her. To this day she would never believe that such a trivial argument would break up a long lasting tight friendship. Especially one with so many secrets like theirs. Sighing heavily, Lexa played with the cigarette in her fingers, as she stared at tan line on her ring finger. It seemed like years since there was something on there, yet there were no regrets on her part for what happened. But that was a completely different story one that didn't need to surface unless it was noticed.
Taking another long puff from the cigarette, Lexa sighed and turned her attention to a mighty oak tree that stood a couple yards away. Her eyes flashed for a moment when the wind blew a new scent her way. Licking her lips, she took another puff of the cigarette. "Can't hide forever Alex. You're drawn to this place and you can't avoid it." She said casually not even raising her voice knowing Alex would hear either way.
Lexa stayed where she was waiting for her words to travel towards the others direction. She knew he would eventually hear it and that was all that mattered. The only question now was if he would respond to it by leaving and not coming back for another week or so, or would he come over and finally yell at her. She couldn’t take the suspense of the situation nor the waiting. As much as she could fake it, patients weren’t really her strong suit. It was something she gave up on easily but no one really saw that. Well no one except Alex who had seen her through her worst and best. It didn’t matter what was going on to either of them, showing their emotions to each other was something that seemed to come naturally. At least that’s how Lexa felt about it and after what she saw with Alex it seemed he was more secretive about things. Even now when they were fighting about something trivial as remorse, she would still be the one that apologized and swallowed her pride. With everyone already hating her, even her ex husband, she didn’t need Alex being one of them. He was really all she had left and she wasn’t going to let him just leave so easily. Not without a fight. They had been through too much to just throw it all away.
The long slime hand holding the cancer stick came up to her lips and she took a long drag of the cigarette. Holding in the toxic fumes she couldn’t help but stare at the thin ring line on her finger. Images of the night she left Reg flooded through her mind as she did. Things had already been on a rocky front for a while but that night topped it off. Reg had been having a meeting in his study with some people who he claimed he worked with. They were sitting by the fireplace unaware of anything and anyone around them. Lexa had gotten back from her own night meeting earlier then expected. At least early then Reg had expected. On her way upstairs, he happened to catch a bit of the conversation in the study and took a small detour. With the only light source in the house coming from the fire place, it wasn’t much of a chore to slip into the room unnoticed. What she heard that night made her glad she had come home early. Not only was Reg using her and her family, but he was working for the resistance against everything she stood for. Everything he had seen at the meetings and all they had discussed together had been relaid to the order and Ministry officials. There was no describing how livid and enraged Lexa was that moment then and there. If she hadn’t been greatly outnumbered she would have made her presence and thoughts known right then and there. Instead, she slowly slipped out of the room and headed upstairs packing everything she owned into her bottomless bag. When she had everything she owned and a few things she could use, like the stack of books and money hidden in the bedroom vault, she confronted her so called husband. With the house empty, aside from herself and Reg, she could take her rage out on the unsuspecting man. Leaving Reg unconscious and badly wounded, she set fire to the whole house before leaving and not turning back. The next morning she read about the fire in the Daily Prophet and her supposed death. As far as she knew, no one suspected her and having people think she was dead helped her keep below radar for a while.
That had been a few nights ago. Ever since she left the only places shes been is the cemetery. During the day she would pitch a tent in one of the crypts and wait it out till night fell. Less people walked around at night and it was easier to get things done. Her head started to spin as she realized she was still holding in that smoke she inhaled a while ago. Sighing, she let out the smoke letting the fresh air fill her lungs and body. She shook her head to clear it up faster before turning her attention back in the direction she knew Alex was. No matter how much she wanted to finally make peace with the other, she knew it had to be Alex’s move and not hers. If he decided that this wasn’t worth this time and leave then she would just have to let him cool off some more and try again. No she wasn’t going to give up but if he needed more time then she would be willing to wait despite her lack of patents. Hell she would even sit here on the other’s parents grave stone for months just to get yelled at. The silence and avoidance was really getting to her and she needed someone to talk to. No she needed Alex and he knew it. Otherwise he wouldn’t be taking his sweet time in confronting the situation.
Note: I only added a bit cause I was too tired to look through the whole thing again.
