The purpose of this thread is for any graphic makers out there to go ahead and ask away any questions about making siggies and such. There are basics to computer graphics as I have learned throughout the months I have practice. This thread is intended to ask any questions or if I decide to post any tutorials that I have found very useful. But there is also the case if you decide that you are hopeless at making graphics, I'll be taking a limited number of requests, as I have said before....this thread is intended for asking questions and posting tutorials. Well enough yak..... If You'd like a siggie, Please use the following form: Pictures: As Many as you want, but let me warn you all too much can look bad, Please specify the URL link for each picture Width and Height of Siggie: Pixel by Pixel, Inch by Inch Particular Style: Gradients? Colour Overlays? Textures? Brushes? You name it Captions: Text on your siggie? post it here Like I said, this is a LIMITED request thread... A Sample of my work:

I think that I speak for the general public when I say that this thread was definitely created on my behalf, lol.
Don't worry I have question, I'm not just taking up space: I have tried repeatedly to load brushes and different fonts onto my computer, and it constantly passes off the files that I try to transfer into photoshop as 'broken' or 'unreadable' so it won't let me download them into it, do you have any idea why it does that? I have tried everything that I can think of to get around it, but nothing is working so I have about given up entirely.

Hmmm, generally brushes come in zip files, but I'm assuming you're beyond that.
When you have your brush tool selected in Photoshop you will notice at the top it says Brush: then the size of your brush
Beside it there is a little arrow, click it and a drop down menu will appear. Now to the right of the menu you will see an arrow pointing to the right. Click that and another menu will appear. In about the middle of the menu it will say
Load Brushes
Click that and it will lead you to where you can open your files, wherever you have saved your brushes, direct yourself to it and just click it and it will automatically load into the program.
Now for fonts. In order to make fonts usable you have to install them in your computer:
Go to>>My Computer then>>Double Click your Local Disk>>Then open the folder labeled WINDOWS>>Then find the folder labeled Fonts and open that folder
Now open wherever you have saved the fonts you have downloaded, so just open another window>>now drag the font file (it's usually labeled with an A, O or TT) into the other window which has the Fonts folder open.
If you got anymore questions, you can PM me or just ask me to post a few pics so you're not left out of the blue. I'll be posting my first tutorial pretty soon.

Alright, thanks, I will try to step myself through that process sometime this week or weekend and see how everything goes. The worst case scenario is that it's my computer and not the downloads that aren't coming through properly.
