I used to like Voldemort in the first few books. People afraid to speak his name, mysterious air about him, powerfull up to wazoo, never trusted anyone he came into the company of. I thought, "This is a great villain, perfect antagonist." Then, in the 5th book, he goes and says dumb crap like "There is nothing worse than death", and the entire 6th book is based on his avoiding death because he considers it to be the worst possible fate. BULL****! Everyone knows that any decent villain prides himself in not only knowing there are things worse than death, but coming up with them and employing them to the fullest on victims. Any villain who sees death as the ultimate punishment just isn't dark and dangerous enough in my book. Just thought I'd share.

Yeah, seriousely. He was a good villian back in about 1,2,and maybe 3. But in 4,5,and 6, it starts to get really screwed up. Although he was a good villian, he used to be feared by many, but now Basically NOBODY is scared of him.
Oh yeah, in the 6th book, I think J.K. Rowling said she knows it sucked, but she had a good reason for something bad happening later. Weird.

obvisoulsy, death is the only thing he fears bc its the only thing that hasnt happend to him and if it did, hes not sure what would happen and doesnt want to go from Evil Hero To Zero.

okay, people I said it once I'll say it again, it's called useing one story to lay the background work for what happens in the next story.

I don't see what plot has to do with this. Voldemort clearly stated "nothing worse than death", that's his belief. But any good villain should know...that's not true!
