I don't think so. You might have wanted to keep that to yourself. Some people get very offended when you do that, hun.

Oh. I see. Well they don't really need to. They aren't really supposed to tell you it is Christian based. It is hard to explain. Um...People are supposed to figure it out for themselves or...I dunno.

Yes. Exactly. That was one of my favorite parts. Lord of the Rings just really didn't get to me with the Christian beliefs. No offence to anyone. They just didn't explain it. They weren't supposed to, I know that, but meh. Actually the one that let me believe more was Dogma. Isn't that odd?

Heh, that's quite a funny statement, considering every fucking religion has the same generic base, tell me, how does that make it "Christian" and not "Muslim" or "Islamic" or "Jewish"? Let's see if you can put together a coherent paragraph supporting your point.
And does every story about good and evil have to relate to Christianity? Of course you can draw parallels between LOTR and Christianity, fiction and religion are the only two fucking things on the planet that you'll find good and evil in.
My point? The bible sure does make a nice fairy tale.

Oh, and the boat was not a significant symbol that was deeply rooted in religion. It was simply the ship that was meant to carry Frodo, Bilbo, and the remaining Elves to the Western Lands.
Yes Tolkien was religious, but I mean come on, it's a fucking boat.
