The Return of Voldemort

It had been three years since the great Battle at Hogwarts where the Dark Lord was defeated by the wizarding world hero Harry Potter. Since then, the wizarding world has been at peace and everyone is trying to rebuild their lives.

Hogwarts had been closed down since that tragic day but is opening its doors to students once again this time with a new Headmaster. There is a new exception this time. Any students who were not able to completely finish their studies at Hogwarts due to the war are welcome back.

Any members who were on ROV before the revamp as accepted characters can re-post their applications. Please update it using the new application format. Either just add what your character for the last two years, or give them some changes if you'd like. Once you've done that start posting and have fun.

~*~The Plot!~*~

The Battle of Hogwarts took many lives on both sides. The departed were mourned, and the living began to rebuild. In three years' time, the great wizarding school reopened its doors, admitting new students and allowing those whose education was interrupted to return and pick up where they had left off. Minerva McGonagall has taken up the post of headmistress, and has shown compassion reminiscent of Dumbledore. Her sharpness has lessened in these peaceful times, and even students who were once among the Dark Lord's ranks are being allowed back into Hogwarts. After all, no one should be denied a good education...

Meanwhile, it appears, the Dark Lord is not as permanently deceased as the wizarding world might have hoped. Due to an unforeseen circumstance, the Nagini who was killed in the great battle was not Voldemort's true snake. An impostor...A decoy. This gave the Dark Lord yet another chance at life and, as of right now, only a handful of his most loyal followers are aware of his existence. He currently has them searching for the real Nagini, having lost his bond with her after his body was destroyed, and...There is another...

Shortly before the final months of the war, the Dark Lord fathered a son from Narcissa Malfoy. Tristan. The boy is currently hidden, along with Narcissa, who was presumed dead after replacing herself with a Muggle decoy in order to avoid her fate at the hands of Lord Voldemort. Their location was known only to Severus Snape who was killed shortly before the final battle began. The Dark Lord requires both Nagini and Tristan to regain his body and take full command of his Death Eaters who's numbers are on the rise.

All of these dark happenings go unnoticed by the majority of the wizarding world. The people are enjoying a well-deserved peace after all of their suffering and fear, and even Wizards of the Order of the Phoenix have taken to concentrating on their own lives. Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley are due to be married soon, and they are eager to start a family. Hermione has started back into her studies at Hogwarts, intent on scoring as many N.E.W.T.s as possible, while Ron Weasley stresses over popping the question.

Times are shifting quickly, and it is only a mater of time before the Dark Lord makes his move, and the whole of the wizarding world is forced to once more take sides and fight for what they truly believe in...

And the time shall come when you, too, have to decide where your loyalties lie...
